Made in America Pottery
According to an article in the Newark Advocate, Longaberger will be introducing a new line of pottery on March 1, 2009.  The American Home Pottery collection will be sold as a four piece place setting.

While most of the company’s pottery will still be produced overseas, it is very encouraging to see the company bringing some of its pottery back home.  Who knows, maybe it will do so well that they’ll bring it all back to the U.S.

Spring is just around the corner.    Okay, that maybe wishful thinking, but with all the snow and cold we’ve had this winter, I’ve got to look forward to warmer weather.  (It also really helps to get through March, which around here equals “Mud Season”.)

The calendar is starting to fill up with all the usual spring and summer activities.  In addition to the re-opening of the  Longaberger Homestead  in March and the VB outlet sale in April / May, I’m
looking forward to our daughter’s graduation in May. (I’ll probably be a basket
case–no pun intended.)

So as we all get ready for the festive and busy events that seem to come
with the warmer weather, I’d like to thank you all for your continued support.
It really does brighten my day!  And if you have any helpful hints for a
homeschool graduation or open house, please send them along!
