3,288 Miles

What’s 3,288 miles?
The Answer:  Michigan’s shoreline.

Those miles include the shoreline around the Upper and Lower Peninsulas and all of our inland islands and lakes.  According to the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the 2000 World Book Encyclopedia, the only state with more shorline than Michigan is Alaska.

Welcome to Autumn!

Is it really October already?  We hope you are enjoying the bounty and
beauty of fall.  Our leaves are just starting to turn here in lower Michigan,
and the blaze of color that will follow never ceases to amaze me.
Please don’t forget that October is also Breast Cancer Awareness month!
For more information, please visit the American Cancer Society website
or the Longaberger Horizon of Hope site.

What’s Coming in October?

We have many new pieces of Vera just waiting to be added to the site
including small duffels, out to lunch bags and backpacks.

There are also some adorable Gooseberry Patch items sitting here with
calendars and more on the way soon (we hope).

And, of course, we couldn’t let the month go by without our beloved
Longaberger.  We’ve just received a beautiful Large BIN Organizer
Stand and many baskets, liners and pottery (regular line, hostess and more).

We are also busily restocking items that have sold, so please don’t be afraid to email and ask
if we have what you’re looking for.
